Keeping School Athletes Safe
Athletics is a great way for children to stay in shape, learn the value of teamwork, and see how consistent effort pays off over time. Of course, nothing can ruin a young athlete’s day faster than a dental injury, which is all too common across a wide array of sports. In fact, about 40% of all dental emergencies involving broken and knocked out teeth are directly related to sports!
To help our school athletes stay safe so they can stay in the game longer, our practice donates hundreds of free mouthguards every year to local middle and high school teams. Our mouthguards are custom-made for every child to ensure a comfortable fit and complete protection for their teeth, lips, and gums. In fact, according to multiple studies, a properly-fitted mouthguard can even reduce a child’s risk of suffering a concussion while playing!
Partnering with Local Businesses
Even though we’re all about taking care of the teeth here, we still enjoy the occasional sweet treat just like everybody else! That’s why we have partnered with Whit’s Frozen Custard. They helped introduce frozen custard to this area back in 2003, and they still spare no expense using the highest-quality natural ingredients in their treats.
