Free Initial Exam and Consultation
Your initial consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. During your initial consultation, we will:
- Review your dental and medical history forms
- Provide a complete free dental exam, with x-rays, to determine whether treatment is necessary
- Help you create a customized treatment plan
- Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans
Our team will be glad to answer any questions you may have, and we will provide all of the information you need to determine which treatment is right for you or your child. Please contact our practice to schedule your initial consultation.
I've Had My Consultation. When Do I Get Started?
You're one step closer to achieving the smile you've always wanted! After your consultation, we will schedule your first appointment, many times we can get started the same day. Dr. Jeff or Dr. Jen will get the process started in placing your new orthodontic appliance. This appointment generally takes about an hour, and during this time, our wonderful team will be available to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible.
Visiting the orthodontist about every six weeks is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. Our New Albany, Pataskala Westerville, or Newark practice will work with you to make sure that your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, please let us know what days and times work best for you.
We understand that "life happens"! If you're running late or need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. When you're ready to schedule your first appointment, contact one of our practices and our friendly scheduling coordinator will assist you. We're looking forward to working with you!
Visiting the Dentist During Orthodontic Treatment
It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months during your orthodontic treatment for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure that you are receiving the best care possible.
Our goal is to make the smile of your dreams affordable while providing you with the most technologically advanced treatment options in a comfortable, friendly, and customer service driven office. We promise to work with you to create a payment plan that fits your family budget.
Our Affordable Orthodontic Care Plan Benefits:
- Complimentary consultations
- Low down payment option
- In-network provider for most PPO insurance plans (which means reduced personal cost)
- Interest free financing options
- Multi-family in-treatment credit
- Discount for payments in full at the onset of treatment
- Accept orthodontic insurance benefits (which reduces patient’s responsibility)
- Accept credit card payments by VISA, MASTERCARD, and DISCOVER
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims.
Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party will be accountable for all charges.
We Accept the Following Insurance Plans:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Allied Benefits System
- Aultra Dental
- Delta Dental
- Medical Mutual
- Metropolitan Life
- United Concordia
- United Health Care
- Medicaid (Molina & Caresource)
