The Benefits of Aetna Dental Insurance for Orthodontics
With Aetna dental insurance, getting high-quality and affordable orthodontic care is easy. They offer multiple plans that can be used to cover treatment for both children and adults. When you use Aetna insurance to pay for orthodontics, your plan will cover a large portion of the overall fee (more on this below), and then you have multiple options to pay for the remaining portion yourself. At Shirck Orthodontics, you can do so upfront or break up the cost with 0% in-house financing. Together, this makes orthodontics extremely accessible.
Aetna Coverage Availability & Fees
As required by law, every Aetna dental insurance plan offers coverage for patients aged 18 and under who need orthodontics to address a medical problem, such as crooked teeth or a misaligned bite that prevents them from eating or speaking properly. On average, the most Aetna will pay for orthodontic treatment is $1,000-$1,500 per person depending on the specific plan. This one-time benefit is about half the average cost of traditional braces, but it can also be applied to a clear aligner treatment like Invisalign.
A big advantage of using your Aetna insurance at Shirck Orthodontics is that you can get braces and Invisalign for the same price, so patients can choose which treatment is best for them without having to worry about their insurance coverage.
